High Winds

Eastern Virginia is under a high wind watch from Friday morning until Saturday afternoon. Winds will be Northwest 25-40 mph with gusts to 50-55 mph. High winds and rain will cause downed trees and power outages. Please make sure your generator is in working order, look for a green light which means ready to run, perform a power failure by shutting off your main breaker to assure your generator will transfer power once utility is lost.
